This HALO EPIK Prepaid pack, (“HALO EPIK Pack”) terms and conditions (“HALO EPIK T&Cs”) are subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. This HALO EPIK T&Cs ( Terms and Conditions ) shall be supplementary to the Halo Telco Service Subscription (‘Halo Telco Service Subscription Terms and Conditions”) as and when so amended by Halo Telco from time to time, and shall be read together with Halo Telco Epik Prepaid Internet Plans Terms and Conditions (“HALO EPIK Prepaid Internet Plans T&Cs”)

EFFECTIVE DATE

1. HALO EPIK Pack shall be made available to all new and existing subscriber(s) (“Subscriber”) of Halo Telco Services from 27th October 2023 (“Effective Date”) onwards. Eligible new Halo Telco subscribers (as of 00:01hrs 27th October 2023 onwards) and existing Halo Telco subscribers’ mobile numbers (collectively as “Halo Telco Subscribers”) that participate in this HALO EPIK Pack shall be bound by this HALO EPIK T&Cs together with the Halo Telco Service Subscription Terms and Conditions , HALO EPIK Prepaid Internet Plans T&Cs and/or any other terms and conditions related to the provision of Halo Telco’s Service.
2. Halo Telco reserves the right to amend, cancel and/or modify any HALO EPIK T&Cs at any time without any prior notice. Any decisions made by Halo Telco shall be final and no further correspondence shall be entertained. Changes shall be posted on Halo Telco’s www.halogo.my (‘Website”).

ELIGIBILITY

1. Eligibility criteria (“Eligibility”):
   • a. All new line activations and successful port-ins only from Effective Date (Refer to Clause 2 abovementioned) via Halo Telco App self-registration.
   • b. Existing subscribers who switch to HALO EPIK from Effective Date.

LIMITATION

1. 5G eligibility and coverage for 5G connectivity
   • a. To enjoy a seamless 5G experience, subscribers shall ensure that they are:
     • i. Using a 5G compatible device, wherein the list of 5G compatible models can be found here (refer to ‘5G Supported Devices’ section)
     • ii. In a 5G coverage area (refer here for 5G coverage map)
2. Upon successful switching to the HALO EPIK Pack, all Subscriber’s existing services shall be forfeited along with any existing ‘Freebies’, internet plans, passes, booster plans and others. It is advisable for subscribers to utilise all available quotas (including but not limited to paid or free internet, voice, SMS) before switching to the HALO EPIK Pack.

LOCATION

1. HALO EPIK shall be only effective in Malaysia. In the event the Subscriber wishes to use Halo Telco’s services outside Malaysia, they are required to purchase Internet Roaming.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

1. The pay-per-use service rates for HALO EPIK Pack shall be as below:

2. Service Definition
   • a. “On-net calls” refer to outgoing domestic calls (including VoLTE and VoWIFI) within numbers on the Halo Telco network.
   • b. “Off-net calls” refers to outgoing domestic calls (including VoLTE and VoWIFI) to other networks.
   • c. Domestic calls to premium/special numbers (including but not exclusive to 1-300, 1-800, and others) shall incur charges as per applicable rates.
   • d. All-net calls refer to outgoing domestic calls to Halo Telco and other networks.
   • e. Premium and/or Content SMS shall refer to rates by respective providers.
   • f. International and/or Roaming services shall refer to respective rates by country.
3. Switching to the HALO EPIK Pack (Existing Subscribers)
   • a. For a limited period from 27th October 2023 until further notice, existing Halo Telco subscribers can switch to the new HALO EPIK Pack with zero points or credit. (hereinafter defined as “Free Period”)
   • b. After the Free Period above mentioned has lapse, switching of tariff shall be made available to the eligible Halo Telco subscribers via Halo Telco App or SMS for 300 Halo Telco points or RM5.00 credit (in the event of insufficient Halo Telco Points available or upon subscriber’s request).
   • c. Subscriber’s credit validity shall be maintained after switching to the HALO EPIK Pack.
   • d. Subscribers can also switch via SMS by first viewing and agreeing to the terms and conditions (There shall be no charges for SMS sent from Halo Telco numbers to 2222)
   • e. Switching to HALO EPIK Pack is not compulsory. Subscribers may remain with their current respective packs (tariff plans) until such plans are discontinued or decided otherwise by Halo Telco.
   • f. For the avoidance of doubt, in the event a Subscriber has switched to HALO EPIK Pack, they shall not be allowed to revert to any legacy packs. Requests to refund for any forfeited quota shall not be accommodated.
   • g. Eligibility to switch to the HALO EPIK Pack shall be subjected to Halo Telco’s sole discretion.
4. FREE 1GB Halo Telco App Offer (“App 1GB Freebie”) HALO EPIK Pack provides 1GB free for new HALO EPIK subscribers whom uses the Halo Telco App.
   • a. All new subscribers of the HALO EPIK Pack or ‘Halo Telco Partner’ equivalent packs on our Network in Active status on or after 27th October 2023 are eligible to the App 1GB Freebie within 60 days of activation or within 60 days from the request to port-in. For the avoidance of doubt, this shall not be eligible for the existing Halo Telco’s Subscribers.
   • b. The Halo Telco App refers exclusively to the official Halo Telco App on Google Play, Apple AppStore and Huawei AppGallery. Any Halo Telco Partners’ Apps shall not contain the 1GB App Freebie.
   • c. Subscriber must be in Active (AC) status (ACTIVE status means that a subscriber’s Halo Telco credit validity has not expired) to participate this Offer.
   • d. Subscribers can opt-in for the App 1GB Freebie via the Halo Telco App ⇨ Plans ⇨ Freebies & Others
   • e. Upon successful opt-in, subscriber shall receive 1GB Hi-Speed Internet, valid for 7 days including date of opt-in.
5. Free Basic Internet
   HALO EPIK Pack provides Free Basic Internet (“FBI”) to all active Halo Telco subscribers on the HALO EPIK Tariff allowing subscribers who have either exhausted their existing Internet packages (bonus, mobile internet, paid or free) or have no internet packages, to enjoy always-on basic Internet connectivity at no cost.
   • a. 10GB of FBI with speeds up to 256kbps shall be provided upon activation and shall be refreshed every 30 days in perpetuity from and including the day of activation or switch.
   • b. FBI quota shall not be carried forward.
   • c. To utilise FBI, subscribers shall always be in ACTIVE status.
   • d. The FBI quota made available herein is non-transferable, whether by operation of law or otherwise, either to any other person, entity, or any other subscriber’s prepaid account.
   • e. FBI Internet can only be used domestically i.e., within Malaysia.
   • f. Halo Telco reserves the right to cease, alter or suspend the provision of the FBI usage at any time without prior notice based on its sole and absolute discretion. In view thereof and for the avoidance of doubt, such alteration, cancellation, termination, or suspension by Halo Telco does not entitle the subscribers to any claims and/or compensation against Halo Telco (whether in cash or in kind) for all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the subscribers as a direct or indirect result of the act of alteration, cancellation, termination, or suspension thereof.
6. All Internet, voice or SMS plans within HALO EPIK and equivalent tariffs shall be subjected to Halo Telco’s Fair Usage Policy or promotions solely determined by Halo Telco from time to time.
7. Any queries pertaining to the above HALO EPIK Pack shall be directed to Halo Telco’s Customer Care by calling 011-5050 5020 or 03-5870 3107 from 8am to 9pm daily.
8. By using HALO EPIK Pack, all subscribers are bound by the terms and conditions contained herein together with Halo Telco Service Subscription Terms and Conditions, as and when so amended from time to time and any decision made by Halo Telco shall be final and no further correspondence shall be entertained. Where the Terms & Conditions are translated into a language other than the English Language, in the event of inconsistencies, conflicts or discrepancies between the terms and conditions set out in the English Language version and that of the other language(s), the English Language version shall prevail. Words denoting the singular include the plural and vice versa, and the words denoting any gender include all genders, and words applicable to natural persons include references to a firm, body corporate or unincorporated, association or an authority, and vice versa.
9. The law governing these Terms and Conditions shall be the law of Malaysia.
10. Halo Telco hereby reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions without any prior notice.
11. The subscriber’s personal information is subject to the Personal Data Protection Act, 2010 requirements and governed by Halo Telco’s Privacy Policy as stated here. Kindly refer to the link for details information and understanding of the scope of the privacy policy therein.

The new Halo Telco Pek Epik+ Prepaid internet plans and passes (hereinafter referred to as “HALO EPIK+ Plans”) is an enhanced version of Pek Epik, featuring newly upgraded plans and features, and shall be subjected to the following terms and conditions:

1. This HALO EPIK+ Plans Terms and Conditions shall act as a supplementary to the Halo Telco Service Subscription and shall be read together with Halo Telco Epik Prepaid Pack Terms & Conditions (“HALO Pek Epik T&Cs”) as and when so amended by Halo Telco from time to time. Subscribers who subscribe to any internet plans under this HALO EPIK+ Plans shall be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein, alongside with the terms and conditions of Halo Telco Service Subscription. Any decisions made by Halo Telco shall be final and no further correspondence shall be entertained.

EFFECTIVE DATE

1. HALO EPIK+ Plans shall be made available from 00:01, 16th December 2024 (“Effective Date”) onwards.

ELIGIBILITY

1. These HALO EPIK+ Plans shall be made eligible to new Halo Telco subscribers (as of 00:01hrs, 16th December 2024 and onwards) and the existing Halo Telco subscribers (collectively as “Subscribers”) who have switched into HALO EPIK+ Pack. Eligible Subscribers shall mean subscribers who submit their port-in request from the Effective Date onwards.

INSURANCE ELIGIBILITY

1. There are only two (2) Epik+ plans eligible for insurance coverage, provided only if the following conditions are met:
   • a. New Subscribers:
     • i. Subscribers must maintain an active status for a minimum of two consecutive months.
     • ii. Subscribers are required to purchase the Epik35+ or Epik50+ plan twice within a 12-month period.
     • iii. Upon fulfilling the requirement of two times purchases, subscribers will remain eligible by either:
       • - Spending a minimum of RM50 on top-ups or plan purchases through our official partners, or
       • - Purchasing the Epik35+ or Epik50+ plan again
   • b. Existing Subscribers:
     • i. The current mechanics require subscribers to spend a minimum of RM50 on top-ups or plan purchases through our official partners.
2. Subscribers may lose eligibility for insurance coverage under the following circumstances:
   • a. Failure to maintain an active plan: Failure to purchase an Epik+ Hero Plan for any calendar month will result in the loss of insurance coverage eligibility for the subsequent month.
   • b. Failure to spend a minimum of RM50 on top-ups or plan purchases through partners will result in the loss of eligibility for insurance coverage in the following month.
   • c. Failure to purchase the Epik35+ or Epik50+ plan at least twice within 12 months of registration will result in ineligibility for new subscribers.
3. Cooling period:
   • a. Notwithstanding any other provision of this agreement, a waiting period of two (2) months shall apply to all new subscriptions to an eligible plan. During this period, the subscriber shall not be entitled to any benefits or coverage under the insurance policy. The waiting period shall commence on the date of initial subscription and shall expire two (2) months thereafter, at which time the insurance coverage shall become effective.
4. Coverage activation:
   • a. For new subscribers, Clauses (a), (b), (c), and (d) shall apply as follows.
     • a. Insurance coverage shall commence on the third (3rd) month following the subscriber’s initial purchase of an eligible plan.
     • b. Subsequent insurance coverage shall be provided on a month-to-month basis, subject to the following conditions:
       • i. The subscriber must purchase an eligible plan within the current month to maintain coverage.
       • ii. Coverage shall become effective on the first day of the following month.
     • c. In the event the subscriber fails to purchase an eligible plan in a given month, their eligibility for coverage shall be suspended for the following month. the subscriber fails to make a purchase of an eligible plan in a given month, their eligibility for coverage shall be suspended for the following month.
     • d. Coverage shall be reinstated upon the subscriber’s purchase of an eligible plan in any subsequent month, in accordance with the standard procedures set forth herein.
   • b. For existing subscribers, only Clauses (b), (c), and (d) shall apply.

LIMITATION

1. Previous internet plans (including but not limited to plans, freebies and/or offers under Halo Telco BUDDIES, Halo Telco VALUE, Halo Telco CUN VALUE, Halo Telco HI VALUE or Halo Telco JIMAT plans etc.) shall no longer be available for HALO EPIK+ subscribers, and from the Effective Date onwards can only subscribe to all plans enlisted in Clause 1 of Product Description herein, including future offers eligible to HALO EPIK+ Pack subscribers.
2. 5G eligibility and coverage for 5G connectivity
   • a. To enjoy a seamless 5G experience, subscribers shall ensure that they are:
     • i. Using a 5G compatible device, wherein the list of 5G compatible models can be found here (refer to ‘5G Supported Devices’ section)
     • ii. In a 5G coverage area (refer here for 5G coverage map)
     • iii. In the event where one or more of the above criteria are not met, subscribers shall not be able to enjoy the 5G service, speeds, or enjoy the full potential which the eligible 5G plans or add-ons are able to offer.
3. Halo Telco reserves the right to manage hotspot usage to ensure optimal performance and connectivity across devices. Hotspot optimisation for each plan is stated in the Product Description Clause 2(b).

       • d. Any balance quota from the 2Hari Base Internet shall not be carried forward and the plan shall not be automatically renewed.
       • e. 2Hari Pass can co-exist with other Internet plans available.
     • ii. Mingguan Pass
       • a. Mingguan Pass shall be priced at RM12.00. This pass includes:

       • b. The Unlimited Base Internet shall be based on Standard Definition quality.

   • b. Monthly Plans
     • i. EpikCall 20 Monthly Plan (“EpikCall20”)
       • a. EpikCall20 is priced at RM20.00. This plan includes:

       • b. As a result of the upgrade to the Internet Base Quota, the Unlimited Chat & Navigation Apps feature will no longer be available to subscribers.
       • c. Any hotspot usage is to be shared with EpikCall20 Base Internet and/or add-ons (if available). For the avoidance of doubt, speed limits for selected apps apply.
       • d. EpikCall20 plan’s hotspot is enabled for one (1) device. Only one device can be connected to the internet via hotspot at any given time. If an attempt is made to connect additional devices beyond this limit, they will not be able to access the internet or browse.
       • e. EpikCall20 subscribers can purchase eligible add-ons, wherein the booster details can be found in Clause 1(b) of Product Description.
       • f. EpikCall20 shall be valid for 30 days. In the event the subscriber subscribes to another EpikCall20 plan while having an active EpikCall20 plan, the active plan shall thereafter be forfeited.

       • a. Epik25+ shall be priced at RM25.00. This plan includes:

     • iii. Epik 35+ Monthly Plan (“Epik35+”)
       • a. Epik35+ shall be priced at RM35.00. This plan includes:

       • b. As a result of the upgrade to the Internet Base Quota, the bonus 5GB Hotspot Internet and unlimited Social, Chat & Video services shall no longer be made available.
       • c. Any usage of hotspot or Social, Chat & Video services shall deduct from the Epik35+ plan’s Base Internet allowance and/or any available add-ons.
       • d. Epik35+ plan’s hotspot is enabled for two (2) devices. Only two devices can be connected to the internet via hotspot at any given time. If an attempt is made to connect additional devices beyond this limit, they will not be able to access the internet or browse.
       • e. Epik35+ subscribers can purchase eligible add-ons, wherein the booster details can be found in Clause 1(b) of Product Description.
       • f. Epik35+ shall be valid for 30 days. If the subscriber subscribes to another Epik35+ plan while having an active Epik35+ plan, the active plan shall thereafter be forfeited.
       • g. As a valued Epik35+ subscriber, you are eligible for a complimentary personal insurance coverage of up to RM50,000. The terms and conditions of this insurance coverage are outlined at the Insurance Eligibility section, specifically under Clauses 1-4.

     • iv. Epik5G 45 Monthly Plan (“Epik5G 45”)
       • a. The Epik5G 45 shall be priced at RM45.00. This plan includes:

       • b. The Base Internet shall be utilized in the event the bonus 5G internet has reached its FUP.

       • d. Upon the expiry, replacing or manual stopping of Epik5G 45, the subscriber’s SIM shall thereafter revert to 4G and shall be reprovisioned if the auto-renewal of Epik5G 45 or other 5G plans are successful.
       • e. Epik5G 45 subscribers can purchase eligible add-ons, wherein the booster details can be found in Clause 1(b) of Product Description.
       • f. Epik5G 45 shall be valid for 30 days. If the subscriber subscribes to another Epik5G 45 plan while having an active Epik5G 45 plan, the active plan shall thereafter be forfeited.
     • v. Epik 50+ Monthly Plan (“EPIK50+”)
       • a. The Epik50+ shall be priced at RM50 and includes:

       • b. As a result of the upgrade to the Internet Base Quota, the bonus 10GB Hotspot Internet shall no longer be made available.
       • c. Any hotspot usage shall utilise the EPIK50+ bonus Hotspot Internet and/or add-ons (if available).
       • d. Epik50+ plan’s hotspot is enabled for three (3) devices. Only three devices can be connected to the internet via hotspot at any given time. If an attempt is made to connect additional devices beyond this limit, they will not be able to access the internet or browse.
       • e. Epik50+ subscribers can purchase eligible add-ons, wherein the booster details can be found in Clause 1(b) of Product Description.
       • f. Epik50+ shall be valid for 30 days. If the subscriber subscribes to another Epik50+ plan while having an active Epik50+ plan, the active plan shall thereafter be forfeited.
       • g. As a valued Epik50+ subscriber, you are eligible for a complimentary personal insurance coverage of up to RM50,000. The terms and conditions of this insurance coverage are outlined at the Insurance Eligibility section, specifically under Clauses 1-4

       • d. Any Tahunan99 subscription allows a 30 days of credit validity extension for every cycle.
       • e. Balance of internet quota or boosters from each cycle will not be carried forward to the next refreshed cycle.

         • iii. Upon the expiry of EB5G3, the subscriber’s SIM shall revert to 4G, except for the event where another 5G plan or add-on is active.
       • b. 10GB 5G Booster (“EB5G10”)
         • . EB5G10 shall be priced at RM10.00 and shall include a 10GB 5G hotspotable Internet. SIM shall be provisioned with 5G service.
         • . EB5G10 shall have the validity of 7 days or shall follow the validity of MI plans, whichever is shorter and available, for the following HALOEPIK+ plans:

           • . Epik 25+
           • . Epik 35+
           • . Epik5G 45
           • . Epik 50
       • c. 20GB 5G booster (“EB5G30”)
         • . EB5G30 shall be priced at RM30.00 and shall include a 20GB 5G hotspotable Internet. SIM shall be provisioned with 5G service.
         • . EB5G30 shall follow the validity of the MI plans and shall be made available for the following HALO EPIK+ plans:
           • . Epik5G 45
         • . Upon the expiry of the EB5G30, the subscriber’s SIM shall revert to 4G, unless in the event another 5G plan or add-on is active.
     • iii. Call Booster
       • a. UNL Calls booster (“UNLCalls”)
         • i. UNLCalls shall be priced at RM20.00 and shall include unlimited voice calls to all networks.
         • ii.UNLCalls shall only be automatically renewed or repurchased provided there is an active Tahunan200 plan and that there is sufficient credit balance in the customer’s Halo Telco mobile number, or any other registered forms of payment.
3. Plan Mechanics
   • a. Payment of plans and Credit Validity
   • b. Plan Expiry and Renewals
   • c. Replacing or combining plans.
   • d. Any depletion of Internet usage after any paid or promotional internet, subscriber may revert to Free Basic Internet (if available).
   • e. An SMS shall be sent to the subscriber pertaining to their usage at 90% and 100% respectively.
   • f. All unlimited voice calls (within Halo Telco’s network or other networks) shall be subjected to the Fair Usage Policy.
   • g. Prioritization of Usage Across Multiple Internet Buckets. In the event of multiple active Internet plans, utilization shall be based pursuant to the table below:Priorities are sorted by highest (1) to lowest (9)

4. All prices mentioned in Clause 1 of Product Description herein shall be excluded from the Sales & Services Tax (“SST”). SST shall be charged to non-Malaysian’s subscribers (registered with Passport) for any purchase via non-credit forms of payment (e.g. credit or debit card).
5. Calls to premium/special numbers (including but not exclusive to 1-300 and 1-800 numbers) shall incur charges pursuant to the applicable rates.
6. All unused Internet balances shall be forfeited and request for refunds shall not be accommodated.
7. Halo Telco hereby reserves the right at any time without liability to suspend or terminate the service, plans, Internet, voice or call subscriptions if Halo Telco has reasonable grounds that the subscriber is in violation of the applicable Terms and Conditions.
8. All queries pertaining to the abovementioned plans shall be directed to Halo Telco’s Customer Care by Live Chat, calling (+603-58703107) (non-Halo Telco or overseas) from 8am to 9pm daily.
9. Where the terms & conditions are translated into a language other than the English Language, in the event of any inconsistencies, conflicts or discrepancies between the terms and conditions set out in the English Language version and that of the other language(s), the English Language version shall prevail. Words denoting the singular include the plural and vice versa, and words denoting any gender include all genders, and words applicable to natural persons include references to a firm, body corporate or unincorporated, association or an authority, and vice versa.
10. The law governing these Terms and Conditions shall be the law of Malaysia.
11. Halo Telco reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions or Fair Usage Policy at any time, without prior notice.
12. The subscriber’s personal information is subjected to the Personal Data Protection Act, 2010 requirements and governed by Halo Telco’s Privacy Policy. Kindly refer to the link for detailed information and understanding of the scope of the privacy policy therein.
