HT Borneo Prepaid Pack T&Cs
This Halo Telco BORNEO Prepaid pack, (“HTBORNEO Pack”) terms and conditions (“HTBORNEO T&Cs”) is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- This HTBORNEO terms and conditions ( Terms and Conditions ) shall be supplementary to the Halo Telco Service Subscription (‘Halo Telco Service Subscription Terms and Conditions”) as and when so amended by Halo Telco from time to time and shall be read together with Halo Telco BORNEO Prepaid Data Plan (“HTBORNEO Data Plan Terms and Conditions”).
- HTBORNEO Pack shall be made available to all those eligible for (“Subscriber”) Halo Telco Services, through new registration from 23rd May 2023 (“Effective Date”) onwards. Eligible new Halo Telco subscribers’ (as of 00:01hrs 23rd May 2023 and onwards) mobile numbers (collectively as “Halo Telco Subscribers”) that participate in this HTBORNEO Pack are bound by this HTBORNEO Terms and conditions together with the Service Subscription Terms and Conditions, HTBORNEO Data Plan Terms and Conditions and/or any other terms and conditions related to the provision of Halo Telco’s Service.
- Halo Telco reserves the right to amend, cancel or modify, any HTBORNEO Terms and Conditions at any time without any prior notice. Any decisions made by Halo Telco shall be final and no further correspondence will be entertained. Changes will be posted on Halo Telco’s halogo.my (‘Website”).
- Eligibility criteria (“Eligibility”):
- a. New subscriber registrations (including port-ins) in East Malaysia only.
- The pay-per-use service rates for HT BORNEO pack are as below:

- a. On-net calls refer to outgoing domestic calls (including VoLTE and VoWIFI) within numbers on the Halo Telco network.
- b. Off-net calls refer to outgoing domestic calls (including VoLTE and VoWIFI) to other networks.
- c. Domestic calls to premium/special numbers (including but not exclusive to 1-300, 1-800, and others) will incur charges as per applicable rates.
- d. All-net calls refer to outgoing domestic calls to Halo Telco and other networks.
- e. Premium and/or Content SMS will refer to rates by respective providers.
- f. International and/or Roaming services will refer to respective rates by country.
- FREE 1GB Tune Talk App Offer (“App 1GB Freebie”)
HT BORNEO pack provides 1GB free for new HT BORNEO subscribers who use the HaloGo Lifestyle App.
- a. All new subscribers of the HTBORNEO Pack or ‘HaloGo Partner’ equivalent packs on our Network in Active status on or after 23rd May 2023 are eligible to opt-in for the App 1GB Freebie within 60 days of activation or request to port-in.
- b. The HaloGo Lifestyle App refers exclusively only to the official HaloGO Lifestyle App on Google Play, Apple AppStore and Huawei AppGallery. Any and all of Halo Telco Partners’ Apps will not contain the 1GB App Freebie.
- c. Subscriber must be in Active (AC) status (ACTIVE status means that a subscriber’s Halo Telco credit validity has not expired) to participate in this Offer.
- d. Subscribers can opt-in for the App 1GB Freebie via the HaloGo Lifestyle App > Plans > Freebies & Others.
- e. Upon successful opt-in, subscriber will receive 1GB hi-speed data, valid for 7 days including the date of opt-in.
- Free Basic Internet
HT BORNEO pack provides Free Basic Internet (“FBI”) to all active Halo Telco subscribers on the HTBORNEO Pack allowing subscribers who have either exhausted their existing data packages (bonus, mobile internet, paid or free) or have no data packages, to enjoy always-on basic data connectivity at no cost.
- a. 10GB of FBI with speeds of up to 256kbps will be provided upon activation or switching and will be refreshed every 30 days in perpetuity from and including the day of activation or switch.
- b. FBI quota cannot be carried forward.
- c. To utilise FBI, subscribers must be in ACTIVE status.
- d. The FBI quota made available herein is non-transferable, whether by operation of law or otherwise, either to any other person, entity or any other subscriber's prepaid account.
- e. FBI data can only be used domestically i.e. within Malaysia
- f. Halo Telco reserves the right to cease, alter or suspend the provision of the FBI usage at any time without prior notice based on its sole and absolute discretion. In view thereof and for the avoidance of doubt, such alteration, cancellation, termination, or suspension by Halo Telco does not entitle the subscribers to any claims and/or compensation against Halo Telco (whether in cash or in kind) for all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the subscribers as a direct or indirect result of the act of alteration, cancellation, termination or suspension thereof.
- All data, voice or SMS plans within HT JIMAT and equivalent tariffs are subject to Halo Telco’s Fair Usage Policy or promotions solely determined by Halo Telco from time to time.

- By using Halo Telco Jimat pack, all subscribers are bound by the terms and conditions contained herein together with Halo Telco Service Subscription Terms and Conditions, as and when so amended from time to time and any decision made by Halo Telco shall be final and no further correspondence will be entertained. Where the Terms & Conditions are translated into a language other than the English Language, in the event of inconsistencies, conflicts or discrepancies between the terms and conditions set out in the English Language version and that of the other language(s), the English Language version shall prevail. Words denoting the singular include the plural and vice versa, and the words denoting any gender include all genders, and words applicable to natural persons include references to a firm, body corporate or unincorporated, association or an authority, and vice versa.
- The law governing this Terms and Conditions shall be the law of Malaysia.
- Halo Telco reserve the right to amend the Terms and Conditions without any prior notice.
- The subscriber’s personal information is subject to the Personal Data Protection Act, 2010 requirements and governed by Halo Telco’s Privacy Policy as stated here at https://www.halogo.my/privacy_policies. Kindly refer to the link for details information and understanding of the scope of the privacy policy therein.
HT Borneo Prepaid Data Plans T&Cs
The NEW Halo Telco PEK BORNEO Prepaid data plans and passes, hereinafter referred to as “HTBORNEO Plans” are subject to the following terms and conditions:
- This HTBORNEO Plans terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) shall be supplementary to the Halo Telco Service Subscription (‘Halo Telco Service Subscription Terms and Conditions”) and shall be read together with Halo Telco HT JIMAT Prepaid Pack terms and conditions (“HTBORNEO Pack Terms and Conditions”) as and when so amended by Halo Telco from time to time. Subscribers who subscribe to any data plans under this HTBORNEO Plans are bound by all the above terms and conditions and any decisions made by Halo Telco shall be final and no further correspondence will be entertained.
- HTBORNEO Plans shall be made available to those eligible through new registrations from 00:01, 23rd May 2023 (“Effective Date”) onwards. These HTBORNEO Plans are valid for all eligible new Halo Telco subscribers (as of 00:01hrs 23rd May 2023 and onwards) (collectively as “Halo Telco Subscribers”). Eligibility is defined by having the ‘Pek BORNEO’ tariff plan. Eligible Halo Telco subscribers include subscribers who submit their port-in request on Effective Date onwards.
- Previous data plans (including but not limited to plans, freebies or offers under Halo Telco BUDDIES, Halo Telco VALUE, Halo Telco CUN VALUE or Halo Telco HI VALUE plans etc.) is not available for HTBORNEO subscribers, and from the stated Effective Date onwards can only subscribe to all plans enlisted in Clause 4 below including future offers eligible to HTBORNEO pack subscribers.
- Purchase of HTBORNEO Plans
- a. Subscribers must have sufficient credit to purchase, repurchase or auto-renew their plans.
- b. HTBORNEO’s plan(s) can be purchased in Active or Grace Period status.
- c. In the event of subscriber subscribing to any plan/pass subscription, his/her credit validity will be extended. However, if the subscriber’s current credit validity is longer than the validity of the purchased plan, it will not stack and or add to any existing validity.
- d. The longest validity for a plan, either current or newly purchased, will prevail regardless of any additional plans purchased by subscriber. Sample scenarios below serve to remove any doubt:
- i. If subscriber’s credit is currently valid until 30th June 2023, and subscriber purchases a Borneo 25 monthly plan (30 days credit validity) on 27th June 2023, their new credit validity upon successful purchase is 26th July 2023.
- ii. If subscriber’s credit is currently valid until 30th July 2023 and subscriber purchases a Borneo 25 monthly plan (30 days credit validity) on 27th June 2023, their new credit validity is maintained at 30th July 2023.
- e. Upon expiry of plans, no quotas (data, voice, SMS) or any balance thereof will be carried forward.
- f. All validities are denoted in days which includes day of subscription and is based on a daily basis beginning 00:00 to 23:59 Malaysian Time (GMT +8). Plans will expire or renew at 23:59hrs at the end of the respective plan’s/pass’s validity.
- g. General mechanics of Plan Types:
- i. Subscribers can only have one (1) active Mobile Internet (“MI”) plan at a time. If subscriber subscribes to the same or different MI Plan while still on an active MI plan, the new MI plan will override the current active plan and all balance data or voice quota on the current active plan will be forfeited. Subscribers are advised to check and confirm current active data plan before making any new MI plan subscriptions.
- ii. However other bonus plans/passes, and boosters can coexist with an active Mobile Internet (“MI”) plan.
- iii. It is not necessary for subscribers to have an active MI plan to purchase bonus plans. However, to purchase boosters, subscribers need to have an active and eligible Mobile Internet (“MI”) plan.
- iv. Repurchasing the same bonus plan will override any existing quota of the same bonus. However, subscribers can subscribe to different bonus plans at the same time. The usage of multiple bonus plans is based on the prioritisation as per table in Clause 7.
- v. Subscribers who have active boosters can only purchase the similar booster after 75% of the booster quota have been utilised and will override the existing active booster.
- i. For removal of doubt, a subscriber who has an active B10 booster and utilised 8.2GB/10.0GB (82% utilisation of booster) and purchases another B10 booster, he will only have a total of 10.0GB from the newly purchased booster quota.
- vi. Subscribers can purchase different boosters within eligible MIs, wherever applicable.
- vii. Bonus plans and booster plans will not be automatically renewed.
- viii. Upon purchase of plans or passes, the subscription fee will be deducted from available Tune Talk credit or other available forms of payment.
- h. Plans
- i. Borneo 25 Monthly Plan (“Borneo25”)
- a. Borneo25 is priced at RM25.00 and provides unlimited and shareable base data quota at speed of up to 3Mbps, unlimited non-shareable data for ‘Connect’ Apps and unlimited voice calls to all networks
- b. In line with Halo Telco’s Fair Usage Policy, unlimited data usage will be reduced to 512kbps speeds and will not be shareable upon reaching 30GB of base data quota data usage.
- c. Connect data is only applicable for text, images, videos, voice/video calls etc. posted and/or viewed within WhatsApp, WeChat and Google Maps. However, shared links (articles, YouTube videos, items from other sources that are not within the list above), will utilise data quota from the Call Plan’s base data quota or other active data plans including basic internet.
- i. All Voice calls or Video calls made with other apps will utilise base data quota or basic internet (for those without data plans or freebies).
- ii. Unlimited quota for Connect Apps is only for subscribers’ individual use and cannot be shared with any other person(s) or devices in any manner (including modems or mobile hotspot). Connect Apps quota is subject to Fair Usage Policy (limited to 50GB and speeds of up to 3Mbps). Upon reaching the Fair Usage Policy threshold, other data buckets (including but not limited to the base quota) will be utilised.
- d. Borneo25 is valid for 30 days and will be automatically renewed by default (this can be turned off within the Halo Telco App) after expiry, provided that there is sufficient credit balance in your Halo Telco mobile number or other registered forms of payment.
- e. All unlimited quotas (unless otherwise stated) are subjected to the Halo Telco’s Fair Usage Policies.
- ii. Borneo 25 Monthly Plan (“Borneo25P”) promotional plan
- a. Borneo25P plan is a limited offer in place of Borneo25 plan, made available effectively from 00:01 23rd May 2023 onwards till 31st December 2023 (hereinafter known as “Promotional Period”). After the Promotional Period, Borneo25P plan will be automatically renewed with the Borneo25 plan.
- i. For a removal of doubt, if you purchased the promotional Borneo25P plan on 21st December 2023, it will expire after 30 days on 19th January 2024 and will auto-renew with the regular Borneo25 plan on 20th January 2024.
- b. Halo Telco Subscribers can subscribe to the Borneo25P plan at a promotional price of RM20.00 and provides unlimited and shareable base data quota at speed of up to 3Mbps, unlimited non-shareable data for ‘Connect’ Apps and unlimited voice calls to all networks (subject to the Fair Usage Policy).
- i. In line with Halo Telco’s Fair Usage Policy, unlimited data usage will be reduced to 512kbps speeds and will not be shareable upon reaching 30GB of base data quota data usage.
- ii. Connect data is only applicable for text, images, videos, voice/video calls etc. posted and/or viewed within WhatsApp, WeChat and Google Maps. - e. All other mechanics and boosters of the Borneo25P plan is similar to the Borneo25 plans as per 5g(i)
- a. Borneo25P plan is a limited offer in place of Borneo25 plan, made available effectively from 00:01 23rd May 2023 onwards till 31st December 2023 (hereinafter known as “Promotional Period”). After the Promotional Period, Borneo25P plan will be automatically renewed with the Borneo25 plan.
- iii. It is not necessary for subscribers to have an active MI plan to purchase bonus plans. However, to purchase boosters, subscribers need to have an active and eligible Mobile Internet (“MI”) plan.

- The B3 Data Booster (B3) is available for Borneo25 plan and Borneo25P plan. It is priced at RM3.00 and follows the validity of the main plan. It comes with 1.5GB data and follows the speed and hotspot policy of the main MI plan
- ii. B10 Booster
- The B10 Data Booster (B10) is available for Borneo25 plan and Borneo25P plan. It is priced at RM10.00 and follows the validity of the main plan. It comes with 10GB data and follows the speed and hotspot policy of the main MI plan.
- i. B3 Booster
- For all plans purchased, validity will start on the day of purchase and will expire at midnight (11:59pm) on the day of expiry.
- Auto-renewals are processed between 00:01am midnight to 01:30am the day after the plan expires. (For more information on specific plans eligible for auto renewal, please refer to the table in Clause 4 above). Subscribers are advised to not attempt to add or renew your plan within this time period to avoid accidental double charging. In the event that the subscriber has insufficient balance to be auto-renewed, the subscription will be deactivated. To enjoy the data plan again, subscriber may reload and re-subscribe.
- Multiple Data Buckets usage prioritisation.
In the case of multiple active data plans, utilization will be based on the below table:

- All unused data balances will be forfeited and refunds will not be valid.
- Halo Telco reserves the right at any time without liability to suspend or terminate the service, plans, data, and voice or call subscriptions if Halo Telco has reasonable ground that you are in violation of the applicable Terms and Conditions.
- All queries pertaining to the above Plans should be directed to Halo Telco’s Customer Care by Live Chat, calling (+6011-50505020) OR (+603-58703107) (non-Halo Telco or overseas) from 8am to 9pm daily.
